Process expertise is the basis. What makes the real difference, however, is efficient implementation. SAARGUMMI relies on slim-line processes, a high degree of automation and flat hierarchies. Flexibly utilisable production facilities are both the result and the prerequisite of state-of-the-art production processes.
At SAARGUMMI, each of its extrusion plants can be converted for a new product within one hour. In this way, fast response to customer requirements is possible.

Project Management
Clarity at all times
If everything is clear, then it is transparent for all involved. In a competent, targeted and flexible manner, SAARGUMMI’s project management system controls the interface between the company and its customers. Our project teams guarantee optimum transparency proactively and communicatively, whereby the key dialogue partners are the internal and external technical divisions with their respective core competences.
In its project work SAARGUMMI relies on standardised work flows, in the case of which the customers’ change management systems are flexibly integrated into internal processes, thus guaranteeing the routine handling of technical changes. This keeps the time, effort and expense for the customer to a minimum. Even short-notice, urgent or unexpected changes can thus be implemented without the customers’ time frames being put at risk.
Networked knowledge
SAARGUMMI project teams have an in-depth involvement in all projects and solve problems proactively. The members are selected from all relevant disciplines so that the given team has full command of both technical as well as business management and organizational aspects. With the aid of a global, real-time communications network and an event-controlled, project management tool, the teams concerned realize projects of both a global and local nature.
The SAARGUMMI project management system acts as a link between the company and the customer while, at the same time functioning as an internal control instrument.
However, project management is also innovation management when it comes to taking on board the wishes and suggestions expressed by the customers in the automotive industry and developing them further.

FEM
The continuing trend to shorter product development times together with the requirement for increasing quality standards, this can only be fulfilled by the integration of simulation tools and new development methods in the product development process. Due to the early integration of the virtual validation phase in the SaarGummi development process, our FEM experts are able to give an early statement to a possible solution. In close cooperation with our engineering team we are able to find the best possible solutions. Beside the commercial software packages we develop and implement new simulation methods corresponding to the requirements of the market.
